- Description
- The Strategic Systems Programs intends to issue a solicitation for effort to conduct evaluations of SLBM (excluding guidance and reentry body assemblies). Evaluations include analysis of nuclear survivability issues such as Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), System Generated Electromagnetic Pulse (SGEMP), semiconductor piece part hardness issues, Transient Radiation Effects on Electronics (TREE), Single Event Effects (SEE), and evaluations of thermomechanical responses of missile body hardware to nuclear weapons environments. This will also include above ground test planning and development of an archiving and data retrieval system. Performance is scheduled to begin on 01 October 2007 and continue for one year, with four one-year option periods. The solicitation will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce On-Line (NECO) Web Page www.neco.navy.mil on or about 01 June 2007.
