Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source GSA purchase order. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, subpart 6.302-1, the REDCOM Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division intends to contract with Washington Group Inte rnational, Inc. (WGI), 720 Park Blvd., Boise, ID 83729-9852 on a sole source basis to provide technical support to Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) environmental staff on the PBA Groundwater Monitoring Program Database as previously developed by WGI; Quality as surance data validation on all 2006/2007 groundwater data from various sites using EPA guidance; Assure conformance of all electronic data deliverables (EDD) to upload specifications; Submit a Data Quality Assessment report for each data package confirm th at the EDD conforms to database upload specifications; provide consulting services to PBA environmental laboratory; and Manpower Reporting. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to REDCOM Acquisition Center, 10-020 Kab rich Circle, Bldg 17-120 ARSRD-ACC-P, Attn: Richard Maxwell, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No co ntract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within 7 day s from the publication of this synopsis, a purchase order may be issued to Washington Group International, Inc. without further notice. See note 22.
