Description
Small Business Sources Sought. This is a Sources Sought announcement only seeking Small Businesses responses in order to determine available, qualified small business participation in the below referenced acquisition. The Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) intends to procure ser vices to support the Army Logistics Management College (ALMC) at Fort Lee, VA. Support consists of Instructors to conduct the Combat Service Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO) training, both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outs ide the Continental United States (OCONUS). This support addresses the recently modified specific course, CSSAMO  Logistics Systems (ALMC-TA), via Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) at the request of Army units. The contractor shall provide the qualified funct ional and technical personnel, technical services, materials, and instructional support required to support five training modules. The contracted instructors shall provide expertise in project management, logistics systems operations, training development , and implementation. The major emphasis is on hands-on activities using actual hardware and software currently in use throughout the Army. The five modules from the course are as follows: Module A: Introduction to CSSAMO Operations, Module B: CSSAMO STA MIS Support, Module C: CSS Networking, Module D: CSSAMO Support Operations, and Module E: CSSAMO STSMIS Gunnery. The number of offerings of the modules/courses will be dependent upon requests from the field. Modules/courses will be scheduled according to customer requests. The Government anticipates the minimum number of modules taught will be 4 (one per quarter), with an anticipated maximum of 16 (four per quarter), taught concurrently under separate task orders. However, the actual number of modules ta ught may significantly exceed 16 per year. Accordingly, offerors must be capable of accommodating both significant upward shifts and surges in demand for module training. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS Code is 611699 All Other Miscellane ous Schools and Instruction (size standard of $6.5 million). Responses (not more than 10 pages, single-sided or 5 pages double-sided, not less than 10 pitch on 8 ? x 11  paper) shall include the following information: size of company (i.e. 8(a), HubZone , WOSB, SB, SDB, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran, all others.); number of employees, revenue for the past three (3) years; relevant past performance on same/similar work for the past three (3) years, and your companys capability to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the functional area expertise and experience to successfully compete for the acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this Sources Sought request, articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Capability Statements must address all requirements stated herein. Responses should be sent in electronic format and emailed to Tameka Woodley at tameka.woodley@us.army.mil by 2 p.m. on 9 July 2007. A copy of the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is available by e-mail request to tameka.woodley@us.army.mil. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date , and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
