Description: The U.S. ACA, Directorate of Contracting USMA, at West Point, New York is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine if there is an adequate number of interested SBA certified 8(a) firms, HUB Zone or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms having the capability to fulfill the following requirement: Welding and Braising at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to provide welding and brazin g for structural components and members, pressurized piping and such other steel and copper alloy materials as may be required. Most work to be performed in the months of May, June, July, August and September. Responses to this sources sought will be use d by the Government to select an appropriate procurement method to fulfill the requirement above. The contract performance period shall be for a base year to begin on 01 October 2007 through 30 Sep 2008 and shall include 4 option year periods. The North Am erican Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238190. The business size standard is $13 million. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All interested businesses should notify the USMA, Directorate of contracting in writing b y mail or fax by close of business, 29 June 2007. Interested candidates should include the following in their response: a. A statement of qualifications and capability of firm to complete the type of work described above. b. Identification and verificati on of the company as a SBA certified 8(a) firm, HUB Zone or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. c. State the size of the business.
