- SYNOPSIS IS CORRECTED TO CHANGE FROM 71,000 SQUARE FEET OF ADJACENT FENCED WAREYARD TO 31,000. COMPLETE SYNOPSIS SHALL NOW READ AS FOLLOWS: U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS APROXIMATELY 31,000 SQUARE FEETOF OFFICE, LAB, AND WAREHOUSE SPACE FOR THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY (USGS) IN AUSTIN, TX. The U.S. Federal Government has a requirement for approximately 31,000 rentable square feet of office, special use, and warehouse space and 31,000 square feet of adjacent fenced wareyard. Space offered must be within the following described below. Northern Boundary: McNeil road to Howard Lane Southern Boundary: Springdale Road and 290 East, to 183 Anderson Lane Western Boundary: 183 to McNeil Road Eastern Boundary: Dessau Road to Sprinkle Cut Off Road to Springdale Road to East 290. Only prospective properties contained within these boundaries or fronting directly on them will be considered. A map of the delineated area is available upon request. Buildings submitted must be in a quality building, professional in appearance, and of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and all Fire- and Life-Safety codes, and must be altered or constructed to meet the Government's requirements. Space must be contiguous and at ground or street level. The lease shall be 20 years; 10 years firm and occupancy is required by June 30, 2008 All interested parties should submit letters of interest by May 11, 2007, providing a location address and supporting information (e.g., site, square footage, title and recorded owner, point of contact, address and phone number, and evidence of authority to represent the owner, if applicable) for consideration.
