Description

Recondition/Repair four 12dewatering pumps Descriptions of the pumps are as follows: o Brand: Pumpex o Type: K305P-C2-5356 o Flow: 4600 gpm o Head 34.2 feet o Motor: 56 hp o RPM: 1175 Contractor must pick up and deliver the pumps to Lock 14 in Pleasant Valley, IA. No Friday pick up or deliveries. Quotes will include labor, materials, handling and testing. Pumps can be picked up after October 1, 2007 and must be completed by February 15 , 2008. Since these pumps are used in emergency situation the government may require expediting the completion of the contract if possible. Scope of work: 1. Dismantle pumps 2. Inspect impellers 3. Tig test windings 4. Replace bearings 5. Replace seals 6. Replace gaskets 7. Oil 8. Reassemble pumps 9. Test pumps The procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The following NAICS code 811310 will apply with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 Million. The Solicitation will not be available in paper format from the Government. All documents required for s ubmitting an offer, including hand-signed acknowledgement of any Amendments to the Solicitation, shall be submitted in original hard copy to the Government. Faxed Offers are not permitted. Electronic submittal of an offer via e-mail will also not be perm itted. The date and time for receipt of offers will be 25 June 2007, 3:00 PM. CST. It is the responsibility of all offerors to monitor the FedBizOps web site (using the above Internet website address link), for any Amendments to the Solicitation. All in terested offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, prior to submitting an offer. No contract award can be made until this requireme nt is met.
