- The purpose of this modification to previous notice is to correct the size standard for small business determination from 1,500 to 1,000 employees. FA8620-05-G-3028 0035 Predator Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for Calendar Year 2008: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), 658th Aeronautical Systems Group intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) to provide MQ-1 and MQ-9 Contractor Logistics Support for Calendar Year 2008 for the Predator Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) for USAF, SOCOM and FMS aircraft. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract will include program management, data management, urgent repairs and services, logistics support, configuration management, technical order maintenance, software maintenance, engineering support, Contractor Supported Weapons Systems (CSWS), engineering technical services, Contractor Inventory Control Point, AFTO 781 processing, spares management, depot repair, flight operations support, Periodic Depot Maintenance, Reliability/Maintenance Enhancement, Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS), Consolidated Engineer Management System (CEMS) data collection/entry, and spares. Performance of these services is required for the Continental United States (CONUS), outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), and at GA-ASI facilities. The government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 since GA-ASI is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to support the system. The proposed contract action has an expected period of performance of 12 months.
