Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for non-personal technical and support services necessary to support the mission of the Biological Research and Monitoring (BRM) program. The objective of this requirement is to reach and communicate with all 50 States, fish and wildlife agencies simultaneously on biological information to implement their State Wildlife Action Plans, and to provide valuable support to the USGS biological research and monitoring priorities. Request for Proposals (RFP) 07HQSS0016 will be posted on electronic commerce on or about June 18, 2007. The RFP will state the actual deadline for the submission of Proposals. Details may be viewed on the Department of Interior Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a proposal. Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register by going to www.ccr.gov. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will consist of a one-year base period with two one-year option periods and the resulting contract will be firm fixed price for monthly services. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2007. This requirement is unrestricted and the NAICS code is 541990. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the NBC posting system at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the NBC website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer.
