Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center-Leavenworth, 600 Thomas Ave, Fort Leavenworth, KS, 66027 intends to issue a solicitation for HVAC Repairs of Building 198 - Project Number FA IAQ198-3P. The NAICS code for this project is 238220. The Place of Co ntract Performance is Fort Leavenworth, KS 66027. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price with a period of performance of 300 days. The magnitude of this project is $1 and $5 million. Building 198 is approximately 70,000 sq. ft. The requirement is as follows: All HVAC equipment, piping, and controls associated with the existing buildings two pipe fan coil unit cooling and heating system is to be removed. A new four pipe fan coil system and four new dedicated 100% outside air systems are to be insta lled throughout the entire building. This includes installing new piping and associated components, new DDC controls, associated ductwork and new diffusers. Work will also include removing the two existing underground piping runs from adjacent building 336 to 198 and installing four new piping runs in a new underground piping from adjacent building 336 to 198. Perform a test and balancing on the entire new HVAC system. All domestic water equipment and piping is to remain throughout the building. Incidental to the HVAC repairs is ceiling removal and replacement as required to install new ductwork, interior painting as needed, and installing power to the new fan coil units. This requirement is Subject to the Availability of Funds. This Invitation for Bids will be posted under Solicitation Number W91QF4-07-B-0008.
