Description

The Contractor shall provide full Architechtural and Engineering Services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates throughout the construction project "Veterinary Medical Unit (VMU) and Research Laboratory Upgrade" at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memphis, TN. Construction cost range is estimated between $5,000,000-$10,000,000. Consideration is limited to concerns within a 200 mile radius of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memphis, TN. NAICS for this procurement is 236220. Contract award is subject to the availability of FY 07 Funds. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Firms desiring consideration shall submit two (2) copies of Standard Form (SF) 330 no later July 9, 2007 1:00pm (CST). A/E selection criteria will include: (1)Professional qualifications necessary for the performance of the required services; (2)Specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firms with similar type projects; (3)Past Performance on contracts with government agencies; (4)Location of the A/E Firms; (5)Experience and roles of key design personnel, specifically on related projects;(6) Cost control and estimating effectiveness. This is not a request for proposal.
