Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following: Vendor  Terumo Medical; Product  Triple Blood Bag; Quantity = 194. Esse ntial characteristics are the following: Color-coded blister pack storage containers for easy identification of bag type; Exclusive CLIKTIP snap-to-open seal for ease in component preparation; Easy-open peel tab outlet ports; Ultra-thinwall needle for adde d donor comfort; Needle cap with a tamper evident seal and bevel indicator; Kink-resistant tubing; Latex free. Items are to be shipped to Hanover, MD 21076. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. W81XWH-07-T-0202 is issued by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick , MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firm s or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The SIC Code is 3841; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112; the FSC 6515.
