Description

The Aviation Integration Directorate (AID), U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, anticipates awarding a purchase order for eight (8) seats of the following software: ForceX Mapping Language with Force SML Core Modules Version 7.0 with Video Plug-i n Software Licenses. AID anticipates soliciting and negotiating with only one source, ForceX Technology, 3391 Highway 41A South, Clarksville, TN 37043. Accordingly, this acquisition will be procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as impleme nted by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satsify Agency Requirements. As the manufacturer of the required software, it has been determined that ForceX is the only firm that has the ability to satisfy the Gove rnments requirement in the timeframe which the Government requires delivery. The overall period of performance will be 30 days from date of execution of the purchase order. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 5 41511 and the size standard is $23M. While the Government does not anticipate competition, any responsible source may submit a quotation that shall be considered. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be released 14 June 2007.
