Description
Description: See numbered note: 9, 12 and 26. NSN 2930-01-420-8622, impeller, fan, axial being procured in accordance with TACOM (19207) source controlled drawing 1260252 with the only approved sources at this time being Borg-Warner (51377) P/N 4735-42599-103 and AM General (34623) P/N 12460252. This item requires a First Article Test (FAT) and vendors must be JCP certified to received the drawings The total quantity being procured is 1780 each with 91 each going to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130 and 1689 each going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. There is a 100% option in the solicitation and quantity breaks up to 3500 each. This solicitation and will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date 6/22/07. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the above issue date via e-mail to cddwgs@dscc.dla.mil or via voice mail to our 24-hour request line at 614-692-2344. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number, buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 1780 each in 135 days with the FAT required and 1780 each in 60 days if the FAT is waived. In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
