- REQUEST FOR QUOTATION N1106070085 - SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement along with Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 1106070085 constitutes the entire solicitation. Proposals and price quotations with a detailed price breakdown are being requested. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. Responses are due on or before June 26, 2007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 711510 and the related small business size standard is $6.5 million in average annual receipts. One award will be made for all work described. The National Park Service has a requirement for photography services for photographer to capture digital images of significant cataloged collection objects at various NPS sites as part of the Digital Imaging Team in the Alaska Region. All equipment necessary to perform the work will be furnished by the National Park Service. All work must be completed on or before September 14, 2007. Evaluation of Commercial Items will be in accordance with FAR provision 52.212-2. Proposals will be reviewed to determine which one represents the greatest value, price and other factors considered. Award will not necessarily be made to the lowest priced offeror, but rather the one that offers the best value to the National Park Service in terms of the following evaluation criteria: 1. Qualifications of photographer. 2. Samples of Work. 3. Price. The evaluation criteria are listed in descending order of importance. Price will be a factor in the award decision, although the award may not necessarily be made to that offeror submitting the lowest price. Proposal submission requirements follow: All proposals shall be submitted in an original and two copies for receipt no later than 4:00 p.m., EST, June 26, 2007, and be clearly marked with Request for Quotation Number Q1106070085. Offerors are hereby notified that if your proposal is not received by the date and time and at the location specified in this announcement that it will be considered late. Resumes of personnel proposed for use under this contract which should include educational background in photography and work history in the field of photography. The resume should also include evidence of working knowledge of digital photography including methods, techniques, equipment and tools used to stage documentary object photographs while using a digital SRL camera. 2. Digital photographic portfolio on CD or DVD. The offeror should submit at least one, but not more than three, digital JPEG photographic samples showing one single object as the center of interest for indoors with appropriate neutral backdrop prepared by the key personnel proposed for use under this contract. The offeror should also submit at least one, but not more than three, digital JPEG photographic samples showing one single object as the center of interest for outdoors prepared by the key personnel proposed for use under this contract. 3.
