Description

This is an UNRESTRICTED solicitation. a firm fixed price construction contract with a magnitude of $25,000 to $100,000. 2. This is an UNRESTRICTED solicitation. 3. No Public Bid Opening due to this action being a Request for Quotations (RFQ). 4. No HUBZone Price Preference due to this acquisition is under $100,000 requirement. 5. Bid Bond (20% of Bid Price) is required to submit with proposal package. Performance Bond (100%) and Payment Bond (100%) are required to submit within 10 days after contract award. All Bonds (including Bid Bond) shall be submitted with original signa tures via FedEx/UPS/DHL/ US Mail with delivery confirmation. A copy of bonds submitted by Facsimile or E-mail will not be considered. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within twenty (20) calendar days after contract award, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than forty-five (45) calendar days from the commencement of work. * The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. 7. Liquidated damages of $50 per each calendar day are applicable. 8. Davis Bacon Wage Decisions are applicable. 9. SITE VISIT: All prospective offerors are encouraged to make a site visit which can be arranged by contacting Mr. Sammy Read at 409/384-5716 during normal business hours. NO QUESTIONS SHALL BE ANSWERED AT THE SITE VISIT - NO EXCEPTIONS. 10. QUESTIONS: All questions regarding this requirement/RFQ shall be provided in writing to E-mail: Jean.Ross@swf02.usace.army.mil or Fax No.: 817-886-6403. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, and materials to form and construct eighteen (18) picnic table slabs, one (1) fifty foot by fifty foot (50X50) multi-use court, and one (1) twenty foot by forty foot (20X40) parkin g pad at Hanks Creek Park, Sam Rayburn Project, in accordance with the following drawings and specifications. Th e North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 238910. The solicitation issued on 4 June 2007, with proposals due on 18 June 2007, 5PM (CST).
