Description

70--IBM Rational 8(a) Resellers The Veteran Affairs Corporate Franchise Data Center (CFD) intends to issue a solicitation (Request For Proposal/RFP) to procure IBM Rational products. The CFD anticipates making a single award as a result of the solicitation. The firm awarded this contract will be responsible for providing IBM Rational software products, maintenance support, professional services/technical support and training as required. It is anticipated that a Requirements Contract, firm fixed-price type contract will be awarded. The anticipated period of performance covers a twelve (12) month base period with four 12-month option periods for a total of no more than five years (60 months). This procurement is a 100% 8(a) competitive set aside under Small Business Administration guidelines and FAR Part 5.205(f). The assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519, with a small business size standard of $23.0 million. To be eligible for award, all offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov at the time of proposal submission. All interested 8(a) vendors who are CERTIFIED RESELLERS of IBM Rational software under the NAICS code above may submit a proposal. The RFP will be available on or about three (3) days after this notice is published and vendor proposals will be due approximately five (5) days thereafter. This notice and subsequent RFP are only available on FedBizOpps.gov (FBO). You are advised to check the FBO website frequently to see if VA has issued any amendments to the solicitation.
