- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No W912BU-07-T-0056 for Trash Removal Services at Chesapeake City & Delaware Canal, Post Office Box 77, Chesapeake City, Maryland 21915. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials to perform trash and garbage removal services year round at the Chesapeake City & Delaware Canal. The contract will have a period of performance for the base year and will contain 4 additio nal 1-year option periods in accordance with Scope of Work included in the Solicitation. Award will be made to lowest responsible offeror. The RFQ will be available on or about 31 May 2007. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be a vailable via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDs) homepage https://www.fedteds.gov. Interested offerors must register with FedTeDS before accessing the system. FedTeDs registration requires the following information: CCR Marketing Partner Ident ification Number (MPIN), DUNS Number or Cage Code, Telephone Number, and E-Mail Address. Registration Instructions can be found on the FedTeDS website by clicking on the Register with FedTeDS hyperlink. Interested offerors should select the Begin Vendor/ Contractor Registration Process option. Offerors who have registered with FedTeDS must access the data for this solicitation by way of the hyperlink established via the FedBizOpps announcement. Please access www.fedbizopps.gov and click on the hyperlink to FedTeDS www.fedteds.gov. Offerors cannot log into the FedTeDS home page and search for data directly. Offers will be due on 14 June 2007 at 4:00 p.m. eastern time and may be faxed to Helena DiNofa at 215-656-6798. Quotes should include pricing and c ertifications and representations. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the RFQ. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North Atlantic Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this procurement is 562111 with a size stand ard of $11.5 Million. Affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All Contractors must be registered in the DoDs Central Contractor Re gistration before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
