Description
**Solicitation is now available. Proposals due on 29 June 2007. Interested Sources are advised that Performance Volumes as well as Cost/Price Volumes are required in proposal packages. Solicitation has strict instructions relative to proposal preparation. The 642d Combat Sustainment Support Squardron (642 CBSSS) Contracting Office at Robins AFB GA publicizes the requirement for a long-term, multiple-year, Requirements-type Indefinite Delivery contract for 200, 400, and 600-gallon fuel trailers in accordance with Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-58091C, dated 20 April 2007. (NSN: 2330-01-301-0753QP, 2330-01-245-9458QP, and 2330-01-300-4482QP, respectively.) Contract will consist of one basic contract period of 12 months and four annual option periods. It will be a Firm-Fixed-Priced, FAR 12, Commercial contract. AF and FMS requirements included. The solicitation will identify Best Estimated Quantities in the amount of 35 per year for 5 years for the 200 and 400-gallon trailers, and 28 per year for 5 years for the 600 gallon trailers. Requirement will be set aside 100% for small business participation. All offerors shall submit a price proposal AND a performance volume in accordance with the Request for Proposal. The Government will employ the Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) acquisition methodology to procure the requirement. All potential offerors are advised to read the instructions to offerors in the RFP carefully before submitting a proposal. RFP is anticipated to be published on approximately 25 May 2007.
