Description

Provide personnel, equipment tools, materials management and associated items and services to remove and dispose of miscellaneous trash and non-edible garbage from designated pick up locations on and around the Columbia VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC. Transportation of waste to incineration facility in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The RFQ will be advertised on or about June 1, 2007, as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-a-side; with a NAICS Code of 562211 with the size standard of $11.5 M. If no qualified responses are received the solicitation will be re-issued to full open competition. This will be a base year with four (4) option year procurement. The range of this solicitation is between $15,000 and $22,000.00 for the base year (July1-December 31, 2007).
