Description

This amendment is to provided further clarification. Clarification requested: We are in receipt of Amendment 03 to the above Solicitation and there appears to be further need for clarification with respect to the reference to ASNT compliance. ASNT h as never issued a specification or requirement for any digital x-ray imaging software to be certified by or in compliance with ASNT. A search of ASNT's web site, www.asnt.org/search will show zero results for DICONDE or any reference to digital x-ray imagi ng software. If your technical staff deems this to be correct then we ask the following question: Question: If the computed radiographic (CR) digital x-ray software provided states that it is an NDT Version and it certifies that the software is DICOM comp liant, is this software acceptable? Clarification provided: It will only be acceptable if documentation is provided stating that it is compliant with DICOM/DICONDE under ASNTs format specifications. The NDT format is required. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-MAY-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
