- RFP-FQ7080/GPC - Rehabilitate WMATA's Metrorail Station Platforms at Metro Center, in Washington, DC. WMATA is soliciting proposals for a fixed price contract, ie. RFP No. FQ7080/GPC for Rehabilitate WMATA's Metrorail Station Platforms at Metro Center, in Washington, DC. Proposals due o/a June 21, 2007. The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, management, storage, permits, transportation, and other items necessary to remove the existing sag in the Metrorial station concrete platform. Work will include rehabing the platform girders such as: jacking the platform box beams utilizing synchronized hydraulic jacks; replacing the existing elastomeric bearing pads; removing and replacing the platform paver tiles and concrete setting bed; replacing platform tile expansion joints; repairing concrete spalls; etc. The contract will be evaluated based on submitting a technically acceptable, lowest priced proposal.
