- Description
- The U.S. Department of State, Regional Procurement Support Office and the U. S. Embassy, Quito, are seeking qualified offerors for new construction and remodeling at the Guayas Canine Unit of the Ecuadorian National Police, located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The project consists of the construction of approximately 420 square meters of office space and dormitories, and the remodeling of approximately 300 square meters of barracks and veterinary areas. The project also includes an electrical system, a potable water system, and the design and construction of a sewage and storm drainage system. The solicitation is planned for release to qualified offerors on or about May 4, 2007, with award anticipated in June 2007. It is anticipated that construction will begin as soon as possible after contract award, with a performance period of approximately seven months from contract execution to substantial completion. The resulting contract type will be firm-fixed price, and the estimated value of construction is between U.S. $250,000 and $400,000. In order to obtain the solicitation package, including drawings and specifications, offerors must forward their written requests by fax to Mr. Robert A. Lindquist at 954-630-1165, or by e-mail to LindquistRA@state.gov within ten days of publication of this advertisement. E-mail requests are preferred.
