Description
NAICS Code: 333415 This synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The identifying RFQ number is RFQ-OH-07-00113. RFQ-OH-07-00113 will be issued on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. If a contractor is interested in receiving the RFQ for this EPA requirement they must submit a request via email for RFQ-OH-07-00113 to Scott Fogle at fogle.scott@epa.gov. The RFQ and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-16. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to result from the award of this RFQ. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 333415, and the SBA size standard is 750 employees. The U.S. EPA Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center at 919 Kerr Research Drive Ada, OK 74820 has a requirement for a Constant Temperature Walk-in Freezer in the Annex Building located on the Main Campus. The project consists of minor demolition of an expanded metal cage to make room for the walk-in freezer and installation of a one-compartment walk-in freezer. The freezer shall be prefabricated, all metal, and constructed in sections (panels) and designed for easy, accurate field assembly. The unit shall be constructed such that disassembly for relocation can be performed. Offerors shall comply with applicable Federal, State and Municipal statutes, laws, ordinances, rules and regulations affecting the proposed Work. Offerors shall also provide descriptive technical literature in sufficient detail, to demonstrate that the items offered meet the minimum specifications specified in the RFQ. After the responses have been evaluated against the evaluation criteria, an order is expected to be placed with the offeror that represents lowest price technically acceptable. Offers shall submit 1 copy of their quotation that references RFQ-OH-07-00113, no later than June 13, 2007 at 4:00 PM (EST) to Scott A. Fogle, at fogle.scott@epa.gov or via fax at 513 487-2107.
