- Description
- The VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA has a requirement for an Accessibility Ramp, Building 2 at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct a new concrete wheel chair accessible ramp at the major entrance of the outpatient care unit at Building 2 at the VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. This project will include the construction of the new concrete wheel chair ramp and includes all demolition, excavation, masonry ramp walls, concrete ramp deck, concrete walks, concrete curbs, paving, canopy, replace the existing entrance door and provide electrical power, removal of trees and stumps, and street lights. The new concrete ramp shall be in accordance with ADA requirements. The new work shall meet all applicable VA criteria, codes, life safety codes and Uniform Building Codes. The work shall be completed within 180 days from Notice To Proceed. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code is 236220. The anticipated completion time for this project is 180 calendar days and the government estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns capable of performing the required work. Drawings and specifications for Solicitation IFB VA-244-07-IB-0002 will be available for pick-up on a first come first serve basis on or about 6/07/07 at a refundable cost of $100.00 per set, payable to the VA Medical Center, at the VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Building 19 North, Coatesville, PA 19320. Drawings and specifications must be returned to the VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA no later than 7/13/07 for refunds. There will be a pre-bid meeting and walk thru conducted on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 10:00 AM. All interested bidders are to meet at Building 19 North at 10:00 AM. All requests for information must be in writing and sent to the Contracting Officer by 3:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2007. Sealed bids are due at the VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Building 19 North, 542/90C, Coatesville, PA 19320 by 10:00 AM on Monday, July 9, 2007. Bid opening will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 10:00 AM.
