- Description
- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropololitan Area. Lodging is required for 100 participants for the Annual State Data Center/Census Information Center meeting on the following dates: Monday, October 8, 2007- 11 single rooms on Govt. Purchase Order; Tuesday, October 9-11, 2007- 100 single rooms per night on Government Purchase Order, 35 singles rooms per night for call-in; Friday, October 12, 2007- 9 single rooms on Government Purchase Order. The accommodations must have Metro accessibility and a full service restaurant. The total rooming nights can be split between two hotels. The Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal, hotel contract and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov or fax to 301-763-4149. No phone calls will be excepted. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order. Closing date for receipt of proposals is June 11, 2007.
