Description
** The original presolicitation notice was posted under solicitation N68335-07-R-0054, Classification Code 17, NAICS code 336413. This new presolicitation notice is hereby reposted for 15 days due to the original being posted under the incorrect classification and NAICS codes. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate a contract for the procurement of the various spare parts for a Fuel Quantity Test Set, which will include Universal Capacitor Switch Box Interface Lead, DC Utility Power Lead 2 Pin/5 Pin, H60F Simulation Lead, H60B/H Sim/Meas Lead, H60 Test Lead, P3 Fuel Measurement Test Lead (Wing Tanks 1,2,3,4), Protection Caps, Adapters, Moulded Parts and Connectors. The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment and consumable supplies to manufacture in its entirety. This requirement is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure from BCF Designs Inc. under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c ) (1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and under an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). BCF Designs, Inc. is the only company with requisite knowledge and technical capability to manufacture the listed parts. Firms that recognize and produce the required item described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
