- Description
- The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a requirement for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for minor construction and remediation services on projects in support of the Military and Civil Hazardous, Toxic and Radiological Waste (HTRW) Programs and other Environmental Programs managed by the Seattle District. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: a) screening, identification, treatment, packaging and disposal of potentially hazardous toxic or radiological waste; b) removal, treatment, decontamination, transport and disposal of hazardous and n on-hazardous debris; c) installation of security fencing, signage, barricades, warning flagging; d) temporary road installation, road repair, site access preparation; e) brushing, clearing and grubbing; f) removal/disposal/closure in-place and/or repla cement of above ground and below ground storage tanks; g). removal/disposal/closure in-place and/or replacement of buried and exposed piping; h) removal/remediation/disposal of contaminated soils; i) building demolition and debris removal disposal; j) s ite restoration, seeding, replanting and re-vegetation; k) water and wastewater treatment systems; l) in-situ soil treatment and stabilization processes; m) air quality monitoring; n) asbestos, lead based paint and radon abatement and mitigation; o) i nstallation of water wells, monitoring wells, sampling wells etc.; p) soil, sediment, water (both surface and sub-surface) and air sampling and analysis; q) UXO avoidance capabilities; r) environmental facility/equipment upgrades; s) waste minimization , and pollution prevention projects; t) habitat restoration projects; u) other work necessary as requirements arise described in the individual Task Orders. This procurement is a 100-percent set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238910 and the small business size standard is annual receipts not exceeding $31.0-million per y ear. Estimated cost is not-to-exceed (NTE) $1,000,000.00 for each of the Base and two Option Periods. Period of performance is NTE a Base year (period) and, solely at the Governments discretion, two Option periods NTE one-year each.
