Description

The U. S. Department of Commerce/National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration/NESDIS intends to negotiate with OmniSoft, Vista California, on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U. S. C. 253 ( c ) ( 1 ) only one responsible source. It is believed that only this entity can satisfy the agency requirement to provide software support and associated upgrade services for the Digital Wide Band Tape Recorders (DWTR), Contractor shall provide 1. Automatic upgrades and bug fixes for both DWTR embedded software and the DWTR GUI, including all upgrade options. 2. Telephone support as required for up to Eight (8) hours per month. 3. Hardware repair on a return-to-factory basis. .Unites to be services 2000004 P/N DWTR4012000, 2000006 P/N DWTR4012000, 2000007 P/N 2012000, 2000009, DWTR2012000, 2000012 P/N DWTR2022000-D, 20060013 P/N DWTR4012006. Period of performance 12 months from date of award. Omnisoft is the manufacturer of this equipment which is used to record satellite telemetry, instruments, and processed data streams. This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (NTE $100K). Interest persons may identify their interest, however must demonstrate their ability to perform the requirement in order to considered. This is not a request for Competitive proposals. No competitive solicitation is planned. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether or not to open up for competitive procedures.
