- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Dutch Valley (Cage Code 08JA8), the authorized distributor for Rockwell Collins ElectroMechanical Systems for the procurement of a non-metal hose assembly, the Buddy Start Hose, part number 0043-0020-60-2 that is required for the Organizational Level of Maintenance for the AH-1Z and UH-1Y aircraft. The requirement consists of a total quantity of 230 each; 30 each for the base year and an additional 50 each for four option years. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government.
