Description

CONTACT Tony Blais, (732) 532-5038. This is an amendment to add more items to market research #2077-1 for locating additional sources for parts repair for the PP-8530/TSC, HVPS. These other items change the subject to Repair of Parts for AN/TSC-85/93 C and D Version Satellite Communications Terminals. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10, (Market Research). Presently, the only known source of repair is L-3 Communication Systems, West, Salt Lake City, UT, (L-3). The repairable L3 par ts are identified as: 7192699-006, HPA Interface Board;7192699-007, Low Voltage Power Supply; 7192699-018, Input Filter Module;7192699-019, 3.5 KV Power Inverter Module; 7192699-022, RHVPS Logic Control Module;7192699-034, System Control Assembly, 5 KV;719 1307-00, Amplifier Subassembly, (LNA);8145722-00, Receiver-Transmitter Subassembly (Feed Tube);3501-01, Modem, Radio Frequency;6166-03, Up-Converter, Radio Frequency;6167-03, Down Converter, Radio Frequency; The Government has no drawings, nor any technical information for these repairable parts.If any other source can provide a repair capability, for the exact parts listed above, they must show either: Information/data/documentation which shows that they hav e, in fact, previously repaired these items; or, provide a letter from L3 confirming that they are an authorized L3 repair facility. The contractor shall be required to warrant that such items will satisfactorily perform, when used for the purpose intende d by the Army, for a period of one (1) year. The deadline for response to this notice is 04 June 2007. NOTE: This is NOT a solicitation - this is a request for information only and all information received will be used for planning purposes only. The C-E LCMC Acquisition Center does not intend to award a contract on the basis of your responses or otherwise pay for the preparation of any information presented.
