- THIS PROJECT WAS PREVIOUSLY ISSUED AS W911RZ07ICIDS1 - ICID-I monitor station upgrade WITH A RESPONSE DATE OF 14 MAY 2007 AND WAS SUBSEQUENTLY CANCELLED. THIS SOLICITATION IS REISSUED TO AFFORD ALL CONCERNED PARTIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUBMIT TIMELY PROPOSALS. - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 standard is $11.5 million. The gove rnment inte nds to award a firm fixed price contract for the expansion of ICID-I components and accessories. This is not an upgrade to an ICIDS-III system. Fort Carson is equipped with the first iteration of the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detectio n System (ICIDS -I). The main monitor station is located in building 2757. Approximately 318 facilities are monitored. The equipment within the monitor station consists of a primary Monitor Console (PMC) Cabinet, printers, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), operator wor kstations, and wiring is made of copper. The current system configuration will be saved and integrated into the updated system. In conjunction with the upgrade at the ICIDS Monitor Station in building 2757 an additional workstation must be installed at th e installation main fire station to function as a backup system. This requirement will have a closing date of May 25, 2007. Prospective offerors are encouraged to either visit the site or obtain a copy of the specifications package from this office.
