Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE to be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ No #Q9833070070) for the National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office. NAICS Code will be 562998 and the size standard is $6,500,000. This acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor to provide all labor, equipment and services necessary to conduct Sanitary Sewer Line Cleaning And TV Inspection, Denali National Park And Preserve Alaska: The work under this contract includes cleaning and TV inspection of the sanitary sewer lines in the entrance area of Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska. Place of Performance: Denali National Park, Entrance Area is located from mile 0.5 to 1.5 from the intersection of the Denali Park Road with the George Parks Highway at approximately milepost 237. POSTAL CODE: 99755; COUNTRY: United States of America. This solicitation will be issued electronically via Dept of Interior National Business Center (NBC) website http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/opportunities.jsp and Federal Business Opportunities website www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential bidders are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors MUST register at the NBC website in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Bidders will be submitted on the Standard Form 1449 and must include as a minimum the items listed in FAR Clause 52.212-1 (b) (1-11) Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items. This clause may be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far or http://www.doi.gov/pam/aindex.html or http://farsite.hill.af.mil. All bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. Bidders may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The procurement will be in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Any resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. Funds are available for the proposed action, however, if the project is cancelled, all proposal preparation costs will be borne by the bidder. Bidders are advised that the requirement(s) may be delayed, cancelled or revised at any time during the solicitation, evaluation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to Department of Interior (DOI) and National Park Service (NPS) changes. The anticipated posting date to the NBC and Federal Business Opportunities Website will be on or about May 31, 2007 (subject to change) and bids will be due on or about July 2, 2007 (subject to change) Alaska Local Time. The solicitation (and subsequent amendments if applicable) and all related documents can be downloaded electronically (once posted) from the DOI NBC Website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ AND the NPS Public ftp site (which will contain drawings, specifications, etc.) that are not posted at the IDEAS-EC website.
