Item 0001: NSN 2840-01-482-7558PR, P/N 1807M62G01, applicable to the F110-129 Engine. Description: The flameholder is an assembly consisting two circumferential channels called mid-gutter and outer-gutter. These two gutters are joined by 20 each radial gutters permanently attached to the outer-gutter. The mid-gutter houses the igniter swirler housing. Function is to constrict the augmenter flame when selected to a certain area and shape. Destination: Tinker AFB OK 73145. Delivery: 614 DARO. Anticipated quantity ranges are 9 ea to 20 ea, 21 ea to 32 ea, 33 to 44 ea, and 45 ea to 54 ea. The best estimated quantity is 36 ea but the actual quantity will be determined at time of award. A Government First Article Test will be required for if the contractor has not made this item within the last 36 months. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and are set forth in the OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. The approximate issue date is 31 May 07. The approximate response date will be 2 Ju1 07. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps and should be obtained from there. Please do not call this office for a solicitation. The solicitation/procurement data list is approved for release only to U.S. DoD contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). Submission of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. The technical data will be posted on the www.fedteds.gov website and will not be available until the solicitation is posted. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
