Description

This is a design-build project with a fast schedule, to include designing and implementing a retrofit of existing low-pressure steam boilers to hot water boilers, to include pumping and piping changes, at the U.S. Courthouse, 312 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA. Award is anticipated in late June, with construction completion by October 31, 2007. This acquisition is an unrestricted procurement pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR 19.10), for NAICS 238220. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Selection will be by best value source selection. A solicitation will be posted to this site in the near future. A document security agreement must be executed and submitted prior to being given access to building drawings and technical data. This document is being posted. A pre-proposal meeting/site visit will be held at 10:30 AM PDST, Monday, May 21, 2007 in the GSA Property Management Office, 312 N. Spring Street Ste 1020, Los Angeles, CA. Attendance is not required but strongly recommended. Additional opportunities to visit the site may be limited. Qualifications documents (as described in the solicitation) are due 12:00 Noon PDST on June 13, 2007. Final proposals (as described in the solicitation) are due 12 Noon PDST on June 19, 2007.
