- This is a sources sought announcement only seeking small business responses in order to determine small business participation in the acquisition. The Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) is seeking information that can provide the Army with au thentic foreign language video and web-deliverable programming for language learning use. The contractor shall provide satellite-transmitted and internet downloadable international television programming to the Defense Language Institute to support langu age learning in languages of military interest. The material shall include live video of native speakers of the language, language learning lessons, in-country interviews, Country Overview DVDs, and Newspaper Materials. The material shall be copyright f ree, so the government can integrate it into lesson plans and for inclusion in courseware, and the material shall be programming that is not currently available via regular US commercial programming. Authentic video programming will provide the necessary materials for foreign language instruction, curriculum development, and self-learning. The designated NAICS code is 611630 for this effort. The size standard is $6.5 million. The response shall include the following: Size of Company (i.e., 8(a), Hubzon e, WOSB, SB, Veterans, all others). Your companys total revenue for the last 3 years, and your companys capabilities and innovative ideas for this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented insufficient detail f or the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition no more than 10 pages.
