This is a Market Survey to identify potential sources who have demonstrated the capability to repair/overhaul electro mechanical/spinning mass technology CN-1314B/A Vertical Displacement Gyroscopes (gyros). Specifically, the Government is interested in the repair/overhaul of Technology Research Consultant (TRC) manufactured gyros, P/N 1027D4544, CAGE 3DWH6, NSN 6615-01-187-0548. These gyros are used in the Army UH-60A/L Black Hawk helicopter. The Army is interested in suppliers who can start delivery of repaired gyros within 14 working Days after receipt of assets, as supplied by the Government. As a minimum, the supplier must process and complete at least 20 units per month. The Government intends to award a one time repair/overhaul contract for abou t 400 gyros. (See below for contact information if additional information is required). Requirements for consideration for this contractual effort are as follows. Suppliers interested in performing repair/overhaul of the TRC CN-1314B/A gyros must already possess intimate detailed technical knowledge of the design of CN-1314B/A gyros. Specifically, the supplier must know intricate details of the liquid level switche s, synchro stators/rotors, gimbal bearings and spin motor bearings and many other gyro parts that make up the functionality and operations of the CN-1314B/A gyro. Suppliers must certify that they can start delivery of these items No Later Than 14 working days after receipt of assets and at a monthly rate of 20 units. Suppliers capable of repairing and delivering these services must so indicate, by writing to Commander, US Army C-E LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AC, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation substantiating that the supplier is a reliable established source for repair of TRC CN-1314B/A gyros and possess the intimate knowledge and technical know-how to successfully repair/overhaul CN-1314B/A gyros, within the prescribed time frame and in accordance with the parameters stated above. Suppliers must also provide detailed description of their facility, tooling, expertise and capacity to meet required demand. This Market Survey does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it guarantee any future contract.
