Description
This is a Market Survey to identify potential sources to manufacture and deliver the electro mechanical/spinning mass technology CN-1314( )/A Vertical Displacement Gyroscopes (gyros) that are currently used in the Army UH-60A/L Black Hawk helicopter. The current known supplier for the CN-1314A/A is Ultra Electronics - Flightline Systems Inc, Victor NY and the CN-1314B/A is Technology Research Consultant (TRC), Haines City FL. The Army is interested in any other suppliers who can deliver new gyros wi thin 180 days after award of contract (DAC) at a monthly rate of 50 gyros per month. The Government intends to award a one time contract for about 430 gyros. (See below for contact information if additional information is required). Requirements for consideration for this contractual effort are as follows. Suppliers must certify that they can start delivery of these items No Later Than 180 DAC at a monthly rate of 50 units. Due to the urgent need for gyros, the Army cannot afford delays involved in qualifying other sources for spinning mass technology or new technology CN-1314 gyros for this immediate contractual effort. However, any other suppliers that might be interested in becoming a qualified source for future contracts, must obtain Interim Safety of Airworthiness Qualification (ISAQ) Certification appr oval by the AMCOM Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED), AMSRD-AMR-AE, Bldg 4488 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898-5000 and ultimately receive AMCOM AED full Air Worthiness Release Certification for the CN-1314( )/A gyro. Suppliers capable of manufacturing and delivering these items as specified above must so indicate, by writing to Commander, US Army C-E LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AC, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation sub stantiating that the supplier is already a proven source for CN-1314( )/A gyros. This Market Survey does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it guarantee any future contract. No telephone responses will be accepted, only responses in writing or email will be considered. For more information contact Man Moy at man.m oy@us.army.mil. The deadline for response is 25 May 2007.
