Description

USCG, MLCP (vpl-1) in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for Unplanned Dry-Dock and Repairs of USCGC WAHOO (WPB 87345), home moorage in Port Angeles, WA. USCGC WAHOO is an 87? patrol boat. The period of performance will be 27 August 2007 through 09 September 2007. A geographical restriction within the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, WA is applicable under this availability. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: Hull Plating, underwater body preserve, partial; hull plating, freeboard preserve; temporary services, dry-dock provide and dry-docking accomplish. On or about 30 May 2007, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a bid. Only one award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder under this solicitation. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
