Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is GST0307R3172 and is issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210 with a size standard of $23 million. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified contractors may submit quotes. After a competitive bidding process for Business Intelligence software, the US Army G3/5/7 Munitions Management Office awarded MicroStrategy Corp an order for MicroStrategy software products in February 2005. The COTS software product and seat licenses were to be used to develop and deploy a fully interactive reporting capability in the Total Ammunition Management Information System. The Army?s MicroStrategy software support is set to expire and the Army requires continued maintenance support. Support must be equal to the MicroStrategy Corp Silver support package. See the attached Requirements Document for a description including the part numbers and required quantities. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Each line item of your quote is to be separately priced. Quotes for less than all items listed in the Requirements Document are unacceptable. See the attached Requirements Document and Brand Name Justification. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote. Contractors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.213-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items with its quote. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52..212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
