- Description
- This modification hereby increases the total number of Wrap Around Test Sets (WAT) to 17. There will be a base quantity of 13 units and two option periods with a quantity of 2 each per year for a total of 17. Full Level III will also be procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. for the acquisition of twelve (12) Wrap Around Test Sets (WAT) for the E/A-18G aircraft. The WAT will be capable of testing multiple weapon systems at one time covering the pods on both wings simultaneously. This contract will be a delivery order under BOA N68335-06-G-0024. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
