Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 (Two) TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR PHOTOGRAMMETRIC MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is a response to questions submitted in regards to system 3. Questions (Q) and Answers (A)are supplied as follows: Q: The Dalsa camera (DS-21-04M15) that has 2048 by 2048 pixels and runs at 15 frames per second has a single base camera link output. I can attach two of these cameras to a single IO Industries DVR Express DBCL board. You have specified two of these (or equivalent boards)in the RFQ. Is the second a spare or should we quote only 1 of these boards. A: The second is a spare. Please Quote on each. Q: If System 3 is to replicate exactly what is already in place at Ames than I would not bid an option to system 3, since the existing system uses the DS-21-04M15 cameras. Other wise I can bid a lower cost option as follows: Dalsa has two cameras that can meet the requirements of system 3. The DS-21-04M15 or the PT-41-04M60. The PT-41 can be set up to (via software) to run as a Medium CameraLink camera at 60 frames per second or as a Base CameraLink Camera at 30 frames per second. Can we include an option to system 3 that uses the PT-41-04M60 in base mode ? This would make all three systems have the same camera and would also save a little bit of money. A: We would like to have two additional 4M15 cameras to maintain consistency. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) and FedBizOpps on April 29, 2007.
