Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), is conducting a market survey to determine industry capabilities in providing a Ground Radio Maintenance Automatic Test System (GRMATS). The GRMATS is a digital, software-defined automatic radio test system. MARCORSYSCOM is also interested in reviewing possible design options, performance information, and material solutions for these systems. Current and future tactical radio procurements by Program Manager for Communications and Networking Systems (PM CNS) will be software defined ground radio communications sets that are difficult to support with the current suite of ground radio test/maintenance equipment. Software defined radios will require software defined test measurement and diagnostic equipment to allow maintenance shops to support this equipment. The GRMATS will be used for test and diagnostic functions for both current and future (e.g., JTRS) software-defined, tactical radios. A user-developed test program capability with a standard style guide is desired. It is anticipated that the GRMATS requirement will include a current system solution, development of a components list, calibration, maintenance, Test Program Sets (TPSs), and New Equipment Training (NET). It is anticipated that the list of items below will potentially require TPSs associated with the GRMATS solution: ? AN/PRC-150, Radio Set, HF, Manpack ? AN/PRC-117, Radio Set, Multi-band, Falcon II ? AN/PRC-148, Radio Set, Multi-band ? VRC-103, 104 and 111, Radio Sets ? AN/PRC-153, Radio Set, Integrated, Intra-squad (IISR -Motorola XTS 2500) ? GRC-171, Radio Set ? Tactical Remote Sensors System (TRSS) ? Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) For information about Automated Test Equipment see the MARCORSYSCOM website at http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/sites/pmtmde/ Interested firms should submit capabilities and experience descriptions, design approaches, design concepts and any other relevant information to MARCORSYSCOM. Firms should also submit business size information.
