- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with information in FAR Subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found in FAR 13.5 as supplemented with the additional information found in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITAION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil). The RFQ number is N6298007RCGC407. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-13 and DFARS Change Notice 20061004. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www,acq.osd.mil/dpap/index.htm . The NAICS code is 451140 and size standard is 500, res tricted to small business. The purpose of this solicitation is to seek bids on providing the following items for the Navy Music Program: Five (5) Alto Saxophones, Key of Eb, includes custom G1 neck, mother of pearl keys, French brass two-piece bell, front F key, high F# key, 4CM hard rubber mouthpiece, gold lacquer ligature, gold lacquer finish, hard shell case. MFG By: Yamaha, Model: YAS 82Z. Five (5) Tenor Saxophones, key of Bb, includes G1 neck, mother of pearl keys, French Brass two piece bell, front F key, High F# key, Gold lacquer ligature, Gold lacquer finish, Hard shell case MFG by: Yamaha, Model: YTS82Z. Three (3) Clarinet, Key of Bb, includes selected Grenadilla Wood Body, silver plated keys, mouthpiece, hard shell case. MFG by: Buffet-Crampton Model: BC1131-2-0Bb. Five (5) Tenor Trombone, Key of B Flat, .500 bore, .020? Yellow Brass 8? bell, Two removable lead pipes, lightweight nickel slide, Hard shell or wood case MFG by Kanstul, Model:1606. Five (5) Tenor Trombone W/F attachment, Key of B Flat/F, .547 Bore, Medium width Bronze slide, Control-Resistance valve, 8.5? Bronze bell, reverse tuning slide, Hard shell or wood case MFG by: Kanstul, Model: 1588. Two (2) Bass Trombone, Key of B flat/F/G Flat/D, 0562 bore, 10 ? ? yellow brass bell, 2 in-line control-resistance valves, nickel slide with interchangeable lead pipes.
