- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to enter into a contract on a sole source basis with Electromatic, Incorporated, 35451 Dumbarton Ct, Newark, CA 94560-1100, to repair one 200W 2-8 GHz Band TWT Amplifier, Model # 200SC-M1, S/N H2025. Electromatic, Incorporated is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the unit and is the only firm with trained technicians and proper schematic/drawings to properly diagnose, align and repair the unit. In addition, the schematic/drawin gs are proprietary to Electromatic, Incorporated. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 334515 which has a size standard of 500 employees. This amplifier unit (H2025-M1) is a self-contained Traveling Wave Tube amplifier that is being used at ground-plane, anechoic chamber and mode stirred chamber facility. This procurement will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized as outlined in FAR Part 13. The closing date to respond to this synopsis is 14 May 2007 2:00 pm Eastern Time with anticipated award date of 21 May 2007. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however in addition to having the technical staff to satisfy this requirement, the firm must also guarantee that they have access to all the necessary schemati c/drawings that will be needed to properly diagnose, align and repair the unit. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE.
