Description
Project Title & Location: Hamilton Wetland Restoration Project, N-2 and South Levees and Intertidal Berms, Hamilton Army Airfield Novato, Marin County, California. The general scope of work consists of: 1) Construction of the N-2 and South Levees u sing on-site borrow soils from the State Lands Commission Parcel located directly adjacent to the Hamilton Army Airfield. The N-2 and South Levees will enclose the Tidal Wetland area for dredged material placement, 2) construction of Intertidal Benches on the outboard side of the levees, 3) crushing on-site concrete rubble to create aggregate base and placing on the N-2 Levee, and 4) construction of five (5) Intertidal Berms. Under this contract the Contractor will be responsible for providing all equipme nt, supplies, material and labor necessary to perform the contract work associated with the berm construction and pipe installation and for using the designated on-site borrow areas to create these project features. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is UNRESTR ICTED. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $31 Million. Estimated cost is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The recommended goals for subcontracting are: Small Business: 51.2%, Small Disadvantaged Business: 8.8%, Women-Owned Small Business: 7.3%, HUBZone Small Business: 3.1%, and Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business: 1.5%. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation will be available for d ownload approximately May 24, 2007. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS.
