- 3040-00-931-8206, Part Number 10953696, The item to procure is a Shaft Assy, Drive, Orifice Control used on the M109 Howitzer. Consists of: straight shaft 10953660; universal joints 10953657 and 10953657; and pin 10953652. Overall lengths is appro ximately 18.00 inches. Steel forging, internal and external involute splines and phosphate coating. Any award as a result of this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five ordering periods. The guaranteed minimum quantity will be 170 each. The estimated quantity over the life of the contract is 425 each. The maximum quantity allowed over the life of the contract is 1,250 each. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY07 requirement. FOB is destina tion. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Estimated issue date is 23 May 07. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
