- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services within West palm Beach, FL defined as follows: The contractor shall be located within a five mile radius of the location where the federal offenders are housed. Local bus transportation that provides direct service for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders is acceptable. The location of the housing facility is 1577 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33409. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on October 1, 2007 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if the option years are renewed) on September 30, 2012. The services required for this contract include: Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates 75: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 10 = 10 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 75 = 1,880 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 75 = 5,400 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 6 = 72 units; Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (one assessment and report per inmate) = 6 Assessments and Reports; Medication Monitoring = 10 each; Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units (per inmate) x 6 = 72 units; Mental Health/Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units (per inmate) x 6 = 72 units; Mental Health Group Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units (per inmate) x 6 = 72 units. Note: Mental Health Intake Assessments and Reports & Medication Monitoring may be subcontracted out. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Southeast Region Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (SERTDAT) Statement of Work dated June 2006. The request for quotation will be available on or after May 24,2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
