Description

The Government intends to award on an other than full and open competition, a firm fixed price, purchase order. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials/parts for the Overhaul of: One (1) T700-GE-700 Turbine Engine, Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-070-1003, P/N: 6035T00G01. This engine has been extensively modified for use only in research testing and as such, no publicly available drawings are in existence. The only source for this ove rhaul is the company which performed the unique modification, General Electric Engine Services, Inc. Award of this effort will not be delayed awaiting approval of other sources. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending rece ipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation may close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all r equests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies, not direct to AMCOM. NO telephone or e-mail requests will be accepted.
