Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for X-Ray Film Processor Equipment Cleaning Services for the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO 63106. The Government intends to negotiate the requirement sole source with SourceOne HealthCare Technologies Inc, 8020 Tyler Blvd., Mentor, OH 44060-4825. The sole source determination is justified sole source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Size Standard is $6.5 M. Services include, but are not limited to, lubricating and adjusting motors, pumps, chains, belts and other moving components of the processor, change the chemistry as needed and inspect the mechanical and electrical components for five (5) processors. Services are performed semi-monthly and monthly depending on the processor. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are requested to review the above requirements, and submit a statement of interest that must be submitted on or before May 25, 2007, 4:00 p.m. CST. The determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
