SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business Set Aside SOLICITATION NO.: Q5530070042 DESCRIPTION: The work of this project includes painting the interior of six buildings, painting the exterior of four buildings and to pressure wash one building. There will be an additional line item that is contingent upon funding. This line item is to remove the lead paint and paint one historic structure. All buildings are located within Mammoth Cave National Park. The National Park Service will award a single firm-fixed price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project to the contractor offering the lowest responsive, responsible quote to the Government. PROJECT COST RANGE: $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 LOCATION: The project site is located in Mammoth Cave National Park, P.O. Box 7, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky 42259 (Edmonson County). Mammoth Cave National Park is located half-way between Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky near Interstate 65 in Edmonson County. QUALITY ASSURANCE: Any required permits shall be acquired by the contractor. The contractor shall be experienced with work as described above and the contractor shall show prior evidence of related work. The NAICS code for this project is 238320 and the small business standard is $13.0 million. This procurement is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition and Part 36, Construction. A Pre-bid site inspection will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the Solicitation instructions. Quotes will be due 21 calendar days following the issuance of the solicitation.
